At Hide-Chan Ramen Hell's Kitchen location, we are always looking for friendly, skillful, and proactive staff member. We have current and future opportunities in kitchen cook, prep cook, and server positions. Please see qualification and requirement below if you are interested in applying.
Base salary ($10-$12 per hour) + tips, break time and free meal provided; additional bonus/reward.
Available Shifts:
• Day: 10:30 am – 5 pm
• Evening: 5 pm – 10 pm (or 11 pm)
• Full Day: 10:30 am – 10 pm (or 11 pm)
Basic requirements:
• Good knowledge of ramen and key food ingredients and taste profile
• Knowledge and experience with POS/credit card processing system
• Some experience with online ordering platforms like GrubHub, Uber Eats (we currently using 7 platforms)
• Speak/read/write English well, Japanese/English speaker is a big Plus
• At least 1 year of restaurant server experience
• Ability to handle high-pace environment in a calm, FRIENDLY, and efficient manner
• Must have proper hygiene and professional appearance
• Must follow all CDC and NYDOH COVID-19 health and food safety guidelines
• Ability to lift some heavy items like tables/chairs
• Some bubble tea or cocktail drinks experience is helpful
Responsibilities included but not limited to the following:
• Taking and processing phone and online delivery/takeout orders
• Waiting tables (with clean up duties) and serving customers
• Entering, modifying, settling customer orders via POS system
• Handling cash and credit card payments
• Sweeping, cleaning, and mopping
• Opening/closing the restaurant

Basic requirements: Candidate must be "well-rounded" in all aspect of kitchen tasks, from food/ingredient preparation to cooking. Following are not required, but a big plus in our hiring consideration.
1. At least 1 year Asian restaurant or ramen/noodle shop experience
2. Can handle fast-paced work environment
3. Has legal immigration status and authorized to work in U.S.
4. Good personal hygiene and food safety knowledge/practice
5. Physically able to lift up to 30-lb objects when needed
6. Flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays)
7. Welcomes criticism and strive for constant improvement
Part-time position is at least 20 hours a week, and Full-time is 30-40 hours.
